Richard Todd’s Guilty Features is our newest show offering a REAL taste of music variety, anything from the 1940’s to present date. The show is built around a series of weekly features and showcases a vast knowledge of music, some that you’ll be familiar with and some songs that you won’t have heard for a long time and some maybe never. The Classic Retro Countdown is brought to you in association with producer Dave Taylor who each week hand picks a classic UK Top 40 from the current week in UK chart history. The show covers the weekly original charts, as seen back in the day on Radio & TV. Over a 6 week cycle, we bring you the charts of 55 years ago, 46 years ago, 34 years ago, 52 years ago, 40 years ago & 28 years ago.

 

We then countdown the Top 40 in the same way it was brought to the listeners all those years ago and over the course of the show play as many of the 40 songs, plus some bubblers as we can squeeze into the two hours.

 

The show features original Top 40 themes and some original jingles bringing back to life the way the Top 40 was presented on the radio way back when. We have no set playlist for the show, the only playlist we use is chart history so make sure you join us each we for those Top 40 musical memories on the Classic Retro Countdown.

 

This is a weekly two hour show remembering the UK hits of the 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s & 1980’s.

 

 

Richard Todd’s 80s Year Book is our weekly look back at some of the songs that were making impacts in the UK Top 40 singles charts from the current week in 1980’s chart history. Each week we feature two classic 1980’s years somewhere between 1980 & 1989 and we’ll play a selection of 80’s songs that were either riding high in the UK Top 40 singles charts from this very week in 1980’s chart history. All the listener needs to do is try to guess the year.

Each show features two years, one year in the first 30 minutes of the show and another year in the second 30 minutes. If you are a fan of 1980’s music then this show is appointment listening for you each week.
